Prof. Dr. med. Stefan Högerle
Since 2003 established as a nuclear medicine doctor in Oberhausen, first in the radiological group practice Sauch/Weber/Behr/Högerle, since 2006 in the newly founded Radiology Institute Oberhausen (merger of the former radiological group practices Bock/Bijani and Stauch/Weber/Behr/Högerle).
Born in Oberhausen, Prof. Högerle completed his medical studies in Essen and received his doctorate there on a radiological topic (optimization of knee joint diagnostics using high-resolution 3D MRI).
During his activities at the university clinics in Cologne (1994-1995) and Freiburg (1995-2002) extensive research work, in particular on positron emission tomography with a large number of lectures and publications and the award of two science prizes. The habilitation took place in 2002 with the topic: "Examination techniques to optimize tumor diagnostics using positron emission tomography".
In addition to patient care as part of the branch office, regular teaching activities (lectures, seminars and student courses) at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg since 1997. 2006 appointment as adjunct professor.
