The MVZ RIO - Radiologie Institut Oberhausen PartG is a medical care center for radiology and nuclear medicine with six shareholders and around 85 employees, including nine specialists in radiology and nuclear medicine.

At a total of four practice locations, the MVZ RIO treats around 80,000 patients a year both in the outpatient sector and in the inpatient hospital sector. In-patient care is provided within the framework of cooperation agreements with currently four Oberhausen hospitals.

In addition to ultrasound examinations, all common radiological and nuclear medicine procedures for diagnostic imaging are provided, such as conventional X-rays, computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and scintigraphy including SPECT of various organs and the locomotor system. In addition to the diagnostic procedures, special therapeutic procedures such as CT-guided periradicular/epidural injections (PRT) and radiosynoviortheses (nuclear medicine joint therapy) are also carried out.
