Mr. Priv.-Doz. dr medical Joel Aissa completed his specialist training at the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Hospital in Düsseldorf. After his specialist certification in 2016, he worked as a senior physician in Düsseldorf and, as a lecturer at the institute, shaped the curricular teaching of the medical faculty in the subject of radiology.
In addition to his main work as a senior physician in diagnostic and interventional patient care, PD Dr. Aissa completed his further training as a pediatric radiologist in the pediatric radiology department of the University Hospital Düsseldorf and successfully received his specialization in pediatric radiology in 2019. Mr. PD Dr. Aissa completed his habilitation thesis in Düsseldorf in 2018 on the subject of “dose management and modern image post-processing techniques in computed tomography” and has held a teaching position ever since.
In addition, PD Dr. Aissa has a certified specialization in heart – CT and MRI imaging from the German Radiological Society (DRG). Since 2020, PD Dr. Aissa also active on the board of AG FRB of the German Radiological Society.
