Mr. Makarem completed his medical studies at the University of Essen in 2000 and received his license to practice medicine in 2002. After qualifying as a specialist in diagnostic radiology in 2007, he worked as an assistant doctor in the radiological department of the St. Anna Hospital in Duisburg. After further positions, including senior physician in radiology at St. Antonius Hospital in Gronau, he then moved to the Radiology Institute in Oberhausen in 2018.
