Dr Björn Steffen has been working as a radiologist specializing in neuroradiology at the Oberhausen Radiology Institute since May 2013. Born in Mülheim, he completed his medical studies in Düsseldorf and Essen with a semester abroad in Finland.
After the initial residency training in internal medicine, Dr. Steffen in the radiological department of the University Hospital Aachen. For further specialization, his training path then led him to the Department of Neuroradiology at the University Hospital in Aachen. After qualifying as a specialist in radiology in 2011, he worked there until completing his further training as a neuroradiologist. The specialization in neuroradiology was awarded to Dr. Steffen in May 2013. Since 2013, Dr. Steffen to the RIO team.
