Born and raised in Oberhausen, she completed her medical studies at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. Further clinical training and further education took place at clinics in Mülheim and Oberhausen, initially in vascular surgery and then in further training as a radiologist.
Since completing her specialist training, she has worked at Oberhausen clinics, and has been part of the group practice Dr. Bock/Bijani and has belonged to the newly founded Radiology Institute Oberhausen since 2006.
